How to Join

Why join the OVPUE Student Advisory Board?

The OVPUE Student Advisory Board is an opportunity for students from a variety of backgrounds to come together and initiate change at Indiana University. Each semester, the board identifies key issues in undergraduate education and conducts research and supports discussion to recommend changes to the Vice Provost. To be a part of the board is to have the change to make real change for students, by students.

Application process

Our application process begins each year in the spring semester. Any undergraduate student at IU is welcome to apply. Those interested in applying can contact the Student Advisory Board at ovpuesab@indiana.edu to receive a written application.

Recruiting for the OVPUE Student Advisory Board takes place early in the spring semester. Prospective members fill out a written application designed to highlight their unique experiences, perspectives, and visions for IU Bloomington. After sending their completed application and CV to the Student Advisory Board president, applicants participate in individual and group interviews led by current Advisory Board members. The Advisory Board then discusses each application and makes final selections.
